I hear folks are starting to see it pop up in their subscriptions. So let’s take a quick look inside: Crochet World Winter 2023 !

This issue is PACKED with goodies!! We have filled the pages with holiday themed projects, great gift-giving projects and wonderful warm and cozy wearables.

Our standard up front sections feature a combination of easy gift giving ideas as well as super cute and easy Christmas decorating projects. You will also find the first of a series all about how to pick and make the right size garment. And a lovely article about a handmade hook company. You may want to purchase some unique crochet gifts for the season!

Then we have a whole chapter devoted to quick and easy gift projects. Now that scarf may look a bit intimidating but it is made with chunky yarn and the designer has videos to walk you through each step of the design. We also have the fun fidget toy that is a great stocking stuffer!

The Just Threads chapter is a bit larger this time with unique doilies, coasters and a table setting that could double as an ornament!

Speaking of ornaments, we have a chapter devoted to them as well. Cute whimsical designs, practical gift card holders and even an easy to stitch garland.

We finish the issue with warm and cozy wearables. The small projects work up quickly for gift giving and the larger projects are so snuggly, you won’t be able to resist giving them a try.
Scattered throughout this issue, just like the Autumn 2023 issue, you will find QR codes that will take you directly to stitch videos, tutorials, yarn and kits. As always we hope you enjoy what we have put together for you and find several projects to work on as the weather starts to cool down and the busy holiday season approaches.

I am trying to do the Icy Trails Tunic and the pattern is very confusing. I want to make a size Large but Row 4 is difficult: Ch 2, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, work in pattern across to last 6 sts. When you look at the main pattern stitch, it has you doing Hdc in first st, sl st in next st, rep from across. These don’t combine well and I am lost! This is a lovely pattern and I want to make it but can’t figure this one out! HELP
We would love to assist but this isn’t the best place for that. Please email our team at: pattern_service@annies-publishing.com and we can walk you through the pattern. Contacting our team via email allows us to more easily exchange information, additional photos and diagrams.
