Hello everyone! Tara here—
With winter weather finally making an appearance, now is the time to get cozy!
On cold, snowy days, the only thing I want is to be warm, so I found some fun patterns that are guaranteed to help you stay warm and cozy for the next few weeks!

Made with two strands of worsted weight yarn, this ruana is heavy and oh-so-warm. It’s pretty much a wearable blanket. And I’m writing this post while wearing this ruana because I was cold earlier (and now I’m not).

Oversized and cozy, this hooded shrug is a must-have for the winter. The stretchy cuffs keep your sleeves from getting in your way and the button closure keeps the rest of the shrug in place as you go about your day.

This blanket has a beautiful stitch pattern and is made with the incredibly soft Jeans line from Lion Brand. The pattern includes directions for all different sizes (including a queen and king size), so this is a blanket you can really snuggle up in.
# 4: Pumpkin Spiced Latte Cardi

This cardigan is heavy and warm, with an incredible texture and a fun hood. And did I mention… it has pockets!

This shawl is all about warmth and texture. The repeating pattern of this shawl really lets the yarn shine. Literally. Lion Brand’s Date Night line has a metallic thread running throughout it that adds a sparkle to any project, and this one is no exception.
# 6: Langness Crochet Beanie & Mittens

Can you really go through a winter season without a hat and mittens? This set is made with beautifully textured stripes and can be made in any color for anyone, and they’re definitely going to be keeping your fingers and your ears warm.
Stay warm!
