Ready for another issue of Crochet World! Spring is definitely in the air with the April issue. Bright colors, floral themes and fun techniques fill the issue. Here’s a brief summary of what you will find:

April 2023
In our up front sections that appear in every issue you will find light airy wraps, adorable stuffies and a practical but fun organizer to hang on your favorite chair. Also there is a bonus article all about how to read a basic crochet pattern. I know a lot of new crocheters really have trouble with the lingo and this article is sure to help you out!

.
The thread patterns do not disappoint either. There’s an intricate flower and lace doily, a lovely Easter themed filet table runner and a stunning circular doily packed with interesting stitch combinations.

.
We showcase how to bring pictures into your crochet pieces using different techniques, like filet, intarsia, tapestry, stranded colorwork, and corner-to-corner crochet. With these techniques our designers have created an Easter scene, flowers, landscapes, hearts & paw prints, stripes and lemons! Several of these will have tutorials coming up on the blog so keep checking back to learn more!

.
Then we turn the granny square on it’s heels with some fun designs! These projects use the traditional 3 double crochet grouping that you find in granny squares in new and unique ways. First try your hand at some fun scrappy granny squares then dive into more elaborate designs. There’s a centerpiece that creates corner-to-corner granny squares that can be joined in unique geometric formations. Two fun blankets that use granny squares, granny rectangles and granny stripes. Take 2 granny stripe rectangles and make a cardigan and then for the more experienced crocheter tackle a Mile-a-Minute style afghan.

.
You will find this issue on newsstands February 21st! Subscribers get the issues sooner so become one today! Or pick up the single April issue here .
