Crochet! Magazine: Part 4 Of Our 20th Anniversary Celebration

Hello everyone! Tara here—

Like Crochet World, Crochet! Magazine releases special issues throughout the year, each one focusing on a specific theme that may not fit into a regular issue. For example, while Crochet! usually focuses on garments and accessories, one of our favorite themes for special issues is all about home décor designs.

You can find a bunch of our special issues HERE!

To continue our 20th Anniversary Celebration for Crochet! Magazine, let’s look back at some of our favorite pieces from some of our special issues:

# 1: Boho Stripes Blanket & Tassel Pillow

Bright Rainbow Throw and Pillow
Boho Stripes Blanket & Tassel Pillow by Jackie Daugherty

Bright and bold, this blanket and pillow pair are an absolute favorite of ours! They bring a spot of sunshine into any room and they were originally seen in the Boho Brights section of Crochet Home 2019, an issue that was focused on home décor.

# 2: Springtime Clutch

Neutral Clutch with Pink Flowers
Springtime Clutch by Jackie Daugherty

The neutral color of this clutch really makes the pink flowers pop! This one is a must have for any spring or summer outing, and it was originally published in Boutique-Style Crochet in 2018.

# 3: The Trellis Tee

Half Sleeve Tee with Open Work Crochet
Trellis Tee by Margret Wilson

This piece is perfect for both spring and summer! You can’t go wrong with a tee, and the openwork on the bottom makes this one feel delicate and feminine. This top was first seen in Easy, Breezy Crochet in 2017.

# 4: Classic Man’s Vest

Men's Gray Vest
Classic Man’s Vest by Jill Hanratty

If you’re looking for a vest for the men in your life, then you’re going to want to make this one for them all. The bold, dark edging is striking against the light gray of this vest and it can be dressed up or dressed down, making this both flattering and easy to wear. This was first published in Crochet Winter Warmers in 2017.

# 5: Color-Block Chic Pullover

Blue Color Blocked Sweater
Color-Block Chic Pullover by Kathy North

The color-block pattern of this pullover pairs with an incredible fit that’s simple and flattering and has us putting this as a must-have in your wardrobe. Like the Classic Men’s Vest, this was first seen in Crochet Winter Warmers in 2017.

# 6: Short Beach Picnic Blanket

Red Filet Crochet Afghan
Short Beach Picnic Blanket by Susie Allen

Who doesn’t love an afghan? This one is perfect for summer (or winter days that are warmer than they should be) because the openwork filet makes it light and airy and gives it an incredible drape. It’s been a favorite of ours since it was first published in Crochet Home 2021.

What’s your favorite special issue?
