Top 5 Yarny Vlogs/Podcasts

It’s a busy time in the world of crochet so today I bring you my top 5 video podcasts that I unwind and stitch to. Sorry I was a knitter before I learned crochet so these are bit heavy on the knit side of things, but I still think you will enjoy them!

I’ll Knit if I Want To

Andrea Mowry of Drea Renee Knits answers 5 questions each Friday on this Vlog/podcast. She discusses yarn, spinning, knitting and sewing. Sorry no crochet but I think you will still find her interesting to watch and listen too. Her bubbly nature and expertise makes the time just fly by.

The Green Bean podcast

Katie Green is a knitwear designer and illustrator from the UK. In her podcasts, you get to see her at work on some of her illustration pieces, go on walks with her dog through the country side, hear and see her new yarny creations as well as get a bit of sewing. Her soothing voice makes her podcasts one I turn on when I really need to relax. And I promise, I am getting to some crochet podcasts….

Cherry Heart podcast

Another fun UK designer, this time (yes!) crochet. Sandra Paul shares with  you her absolutely gorgeous pieces in progress as well as once completed. Her designs are always so bright and cheerful! You also get a some behind the scenes footage and how to videos are also available on her channel.

Joji’s Journal

Joji Locatelli is a knitwear designer based in Argentina. Here all about her new pieces, what she is currently working on and the trials and tribulations of working out of Argentina. As an added bonus, she has her mom on from time to time and she is just as amazing as her daughter. I know, again not crochet, but check out the yarns and styles. I am sure they can translate over to some crochet pieces you might like to work on and can find here.

Not strictly a podcast or vlog, Bonnie’s channel has everything! Find info about what she is up to, how to video tutorials on specific stitches and patterns! Learn as you watch and she really knows her stuff. Her cable work is just to die for. Check out her patterns here and then look for the videos that will help you work through them!
