- Lion Brand® Homespun Art. 790 by Lion Brand Yarn Co. or chunky yarn: 6 oz. each Colonial #302 (blue) and Blue Ridge #324 (variegated)
- Tapestry needle
- N hook or hook size needed to obtain gauge
Basic Stitches
Ch, sl st, sc, hdc.
Special Notes
Size: Adult's one size fits all.
Gauge: 5 sc = 2";
2 sc back lp rows = 1";
2 hdc = 1";
3 hdc rows = 2".

Foot Warmer (make 2)
Cuff
Row 1: With blue, ch 9, sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch across, turn. (8 sc made)
Rows 2-20: Working these rows in back lps, ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
Matching sts of first and last rows together, working through both thicknesses, sl st in each st across, do not fasten off.
Leg
Rnd 1: Working in ends of rows, ch 2 (counts as first hdc), evenly space 21 hdc around, join with sl st in top of ch-2. Fasten off. (22 hdc made)
Rnd 2: Join variegated with sl st in first st, ch 2, hdc in each st around, join.
Rnds 3-10: Ch 2, hdc in each st around, join.
Rnd 11: Ch 2, hdc in next 4 sts, hdc next 2 sts tog, (hdc in next 3 sts, hdc next 2 sts tog) around, join. (18)
Rnds 12-16: Ch 2, hdc in each st around, join. At end of last rnd, fasten off.
Rnd 17: Join blue with sl st in first st, ch 2, hdc in each st around, join.
Rnds 18-30: Ch 2, hdc in each st around, join.
Rnd 31: Ch 1, hdc first 2 sts tog, (hdc next 2 sts tog) around, join with sl st in first hdc. Leaving long end for sewing, fasten off. (9 hdc)
Sew opening closed.
Turn Cuff down.
