To work lps off hook with a color already in use: Pick up color from row below, yo and draw through one lp on hook, (yo, draw through next 2 lps on hook) across, leaving last lp on hook, do not turn.

To end a color that is no longer needed: Work across the row as stated and cut yarn leaving a long end; secure the end temporarily by tying to an adjacent yarn end, or permanently by weaving back through an inch or so on the row before.
