Fringe

1. Cut a piece of cardboard half as long as desired fringe length plus 1/2 inch for trimming. Wind yarn loosely and evenly around cardboard. When cardboard is filled, cut yarn across one end. Repeat until you have the desired amount of fringe.
2. Hold strands together and fold in half. Hold project to be fringed with right side facing you. Use crochet hook to draw folded end through looped edges, Fig. 6 (below).

3. Pull loose ends through looped edge. Draw tightly to form knot. Repeat, spacing fringe as desired.
