Michele Maks is currently the editor of Crochet World magazine and product manager for Annie's Hook & Needle Kit Club.
Before joining DRG as a crochet editor in 2008, Michele worked for 23 years as a professional freelance designer, creating designs for both knit and crochet publications and for product support for various yarn companies.
Prior to starting her career as a designer in 1985, Michele was a dairy farmer in Maine, creating vast quantities of handknits and crochets to keep the family warm. She presently lives in Berne, Ind., with Maggie, a rescued toy poodle who rules the household with a soft furry paw.
