Carol Alexander is currently an executive editor with DRG Publishing. She is the editor of Crochet! and Crochet World magazines, manages DRG's various newsletters and works with the company's catalog and Web departments maintaining yarn and pattern information on the AnniesCatalog.com Web site.

Before joining DRG as a crochet editor in 2002, Carol worked for 15 years as a professional crochet designer and was extremely fortunate in her career to have many designs published -- quite a few of them by the company for which she now works!

Carol says she will always treasure those years of creativity and professional accomplishment as a designer, and she hopes that she brings some of the best of what she learned then to her work as an editor.

Before answering to what she considers her true professional calling in the field of crochet design and development, Carol worked in business, first as a reservationist for Delta Airlines, and then as an executive in office and financial management with several other companies.

Carol lives in Berne with her husband, Richard, and a happy menagerie of several cats, all of whom were adopted from shelters or rescued from the streets.
