Spring has arrived in earnest for most of us in the Northern Hemisphere and is soon to be follow by summer. That means our W.I.P. (Works In Progress) are becoming more portable and light-weight so we can transport them more easily when we're on the go!

Thank you to all who answered our question about why you crochet! You can see the results of this very unscientific survey in the article here. Several of you also weighed in with your interesting ideas on how to handle working with multiple strands of yarn; some of those ideas are are included in the From Our Readers section.

Regardless of the types of projects you choose to work on during the warmer months, they are certain to be enjoyed by all. And while you're at it, be sure to pass the art of crochet along to others. Teaching someone else -- young or old, male or female -- is the best way to make certain this wonderful craft is never lost.
